Only the highest quality fruit from the Estate was chosen to craft the Cabernet Franc. This is an elegant Cabernet Franc of extraordinary complexity. Enticingly layered, the nose is vibrant and changing, sweet fruit notes of black cherry, blackcurrant and pomegranate giving way to white pepper, peppermint tea and cedar. Dark fruit notes also dominate the palate along with dried herbs, black peppercorn and a hint of spice from 18 months in French oak.

Recommended food pairings: Elegant and expressive, this Cabernet Franc has great food pairing potential especially with foods that can stand up to its spiciness and structure. Try it with a wood-fired prosciutto and arugula pizza, beef carpaccio with shaved Parmesan or Ossobuco with lemon gremolata.
